This conference provides an opportunity to learn about key findings from new research papers employing PIAAC data. Expert researchers from the fields of adult education, economics, workforce development, sociology, psychology, and correctional education will share their findings on high-interest topics, including:

  • skills of the U.S. workforce in the global economy;

  • soft skills and earnings among college-educated adults;

  • social mobility in the United States;

  • skills and civic participation;

  • digital literacy among low-skilled adults; and

  • education and training among incarcerated populations.
